Principle Dentist
GDC N0: 70574
Having qualified from Newcastle University in 1995, I spent a year working in Cumbria before moving back to the North West.
I have worked in several practices and joined the practice in Heald Green in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, priding myself in carrying out treatments to the highest standards. I believe prevention is better than cure and feel helping patients to maintain good oral hygiene is an important part of their routine check-ups. Seeing patients regularly over the years helps to build a good rapport, allowing them to have trust & confidence in me.
I like to keep up to date with Continued Professional Development and have recently completely a course on aesthetic restorations.
Outside work I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family & walking my beloved Labrador.
Practice Manager
Before joining the practice in November 2019, I have had over 20 years of experience working for the public sector as a social worker and in primary education. And 22 years as a mum.
It’s very important to me that the patient experience at Finney Lane Dental Care is a positive one, from the first telephone contact through to the completion of all treatments. I am here to support the dental team and offer excellent customer care to all of our patients.
In my free time, I enjoy long walks with my family, going to the theatre and museums, baking and cuddles with my cat Millie (on her terms of course!) I have also acquired two new pastimes during lockdown, yoga and running, which are definitely worth the challenge!

I enjoy a preventative approach to dentistry and try to make my patients as relaxed as possible!
I have recently undertaken an aesthetic medicine course and hope to bring this service to patients in the near future.
Most of my spare time is taken up chasing through various parks after an adventurous toddler or trying to cater to the whims of my spoilt cat.

Over the years have acquired multiple certificate courses inclusive of restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery.
I registered as a UK Dentist in 2004 and worked in the Midlands where I built up a wide range of experience in general dental practice and only recently relocated to Greater Manchester.
My calm nature has enabled me gain trust of anxious patients.

Dental Hygiene Therapist
GDC 307534
I am a qualified Dental Hygiene therapist. Ever since my graduation, I have fallen in love with the profession. Being a dental Therapist, I take care of my patients’ gum health to prevent or stabilise gum disease. I enjoy motivating and encouraging my patients about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and how it reduces the risk of serious oral health issues, such as cavities and gum disease and prevents halitosis (bad breath). It can also improve your general health, reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke and dementia.
The scope of my practice includes periodontal (gum) disease treatment, stain removal, tailored oral hygiene tips, restorative, composite (white) fillings for both children and adults, paediatric extractions, teeth whitening and much more.
Regular hygiene and check up appointments are vital to maintain a healthy mouth and smile.
Outside work, I love travelling, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
